Meet the Coach: Chuck Burr
You've heard the saying, "Practice Makes Perfect". Don't believe it. Practice does not necessarily make perfect. If you keep practicing the same thing WRONG, no matter how much you train, without the proper knowledge, you'll still be wrong. Instead, "PERFECT practice makes perfect". Gain the correct knowledge from an expert, and you'll see positive results in your overall performance.
The Head Coach of TriSwimmingCoach.com is Chuck Burr. He has the experience as a coach and an athlete and will channel that knowledge to you for your individual performance.
Chuck's experience as an athlete is extensive: Chuck is a former NCAA National Championship swimming qualifier while at Texas A & M University. He is a 3-Time Ironman Triathlon finisher (Coeur d'Alene, Florida and Wisconsin). He has completed the Alcatraz Triathlon, San Diego La Jolla Rough Water Swim, St. Croix 5-Mile Roughwater Swim along with countless triathlons, open water swims, bike rallies, and marathons.
Even though Chuck is an active and avid athlete, his real passion is coaching. Chuck currently serves as Head Swim Coach for Team Ridglea Masters (part of United States Masters Swimming, Inc.) and is also Director/Co-Head Swim Coach for Water Works 2 Swim Team (part of United States Swimming, Inc.). One of his athletes is a World Record holder in masters swimming. He has coached athletes from the beginners and novice level all the way up to United States Swimming Olympic Trial qualifiers - and everywhere in between.
Academically, Chuck has earned degrees from Texas A & M University (B.S.) and Texas Christian University (M.Ed.). He currently serves as Vice-Chairman of the Coaches Committee in United States Masters Swimming, Inc.
The best part of www.TriSwimmingCoach.com is that you'll be working directly with Chuck. The workouts you receive from Chuck come directly from him. The one-on-one instruction you get, is from Chuck. You're not working with an intern or an assistant. When you're hiring Chuck Burr to help you meet your triathlon goals, you get Chuck Burr.
